Distillery Tour

Distillery Coach Tour

Explore Portland’s growing micro-distilling culture and taste its products!

In recent years, Portland's burgeoning craft distilling industry has come into its own, creating a variety of spirits ranging from gin and whiskey to absinthe and aquavit. With more than seven craft distillers operating within the city, Portland has become the hub of the craft distilling renaissance.

If you're looking for a tasty way for your guests to relax after a busy conference or meeting, this offbeat tour will give you a behind-the-scenes look at some of Portland's premier micro-distilleries. Best of all, guests can sample unique spirits at each stop. Stops and samples vary, but guests on past tours have enjoyed tasting Oregon-made sake and pear-in-the-bottle brandy while our Resident Experts explain what goes into making them.

Tour highlights include:

  • Touring Distillery Row, the east-side industrial district that has become the heart of the craft distilling movement
  • Meeting the leaders of the craft movement in Portland and seeing their workshops in action
  • Learning about the creative ways local ingredients are handcrafted into award-winning spirits
  • Sampling some of the finest artisan craft spirits in the country

Because of the nature of this tour, no one under the age of 21 is allowed. Participants should be prepared to show government-issued ID if asked.
